SCI Thrive is an online self-management program for individuals with spinal cord injury that was developed at the University of Washington Department of Rehabilitation Medicine.
There are many self-management approaches for people living with chronic health conditions. These approaches often focus on teaching new strategies or reminding individuals of the skills that they already have that can improve their lives physically, emotionally, and in the way they relate to other people. While management of SCI is similar to other chronic health conditions, it has many unique health and mobility concerns that may require different recommendations than for someone who has another health condition.
